[a]He spake also a parable to the guests, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms, and said unto them,

When thou shalt be bidden of any man to a wedding, set not thyself down in the chiefest place, lest a more honorable man than thou be bidden of him,

And he that bade both him and thee, come, and say to thee, Give this man room, and thou then begin with shame to take the lowest room.
